REVITALIZATION | |
The revitalization of the Hillside neighborhood is where DASH’s work began in 2003. With the City of LaGrange granting Redevelopment Authority status and working alongside us to improve infrastructure, DASH started rebuilding aging houses and selling them, often to first-time homeowners. The neighborhood, approximately 275 acres in size, consists of approx. 400 households; 330 single-family homes and 70 apartment units. DASH continues to work in Hillside.![]() |

EXPANSION DASH’s work has expanded throughout LaGrange and Troup County to include large LIHTC (Low Income Housing Tax Credit) housing developments, CHIP (Community Home Investment Program) rehabilitation work, and CDBG (Community Development Block Grant) multi-family developments. Most housing grants are administered by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA), while federal Housing and Urban Development (HUD) developments have also been completed. ![]() |
